C T Online Desk: Sarwar Jahan Jewel Mymensingh: Md. Mokammel Haque, Additional Secretary (Development Division) of the Health Services Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, visited the Trishal Upazila Health Complex in Mymensingh. He visited the hospital on Thursday (October 08).
During the visit, the Additional Secretary toured various departments of the hospital and inquired about the overall healthcare activities. During this time, he spoke to the admitted patients and asked about their medical services, medication availability and various problems.
He observed the quality of medical services, patient facilities and the overall situation of healthcare activities in the hospital. At the same time, he gave necessary directions to the concerned officials to ensure proper medical services to patients, further improve the quality of hospital services and further accelerate medical services.
During the visit, Mymensingh Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Fakhrul Hasan Chowdhury informed the Additional Secretary about the various activities of the hospital. Trishal Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. SM Ziaul Bari and Civil Surgeon’s Office Medical Officer Dr. Ripon Roy and other officials of the hospital were present.
The concerned said that such visits by senior health officials provide an opportunity to review the real picture of healthcare at the field level, identify problems and take necessary steps. Emphasis has been placed on further strengthening the overall activities of the hospital to ensure the desired services to patients.
