C T Online Desk: Noakhali Correspondent : Prayers for HSC candidates of Bandherhat Abdul Malek Lawyer Degree (Hons) College in Noakhali and awards were distributed among the winners of the annual sports competition. In addition, awards were given to those who were placed in the merit list of the selection examination. These programs were organized at the college’s Bir Muktijoddha Enayet Ullah Auditorium at 11 am on Thursday (June 25).
Noakhali District Council Administrator and District BNP Member Secretary Harunur Rashid Azad was present as the chief guest. The program was presided over by Professor Dr. Md. Jahangir Sarkar, Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences of Noakhali University of Science and Technology. Former President of Noakhali Sadar Upazila BNP Salimullah Bahar Hiron and former General Secretary VP Jasim Uddin and former President of Noakhali District Chhatra Dal Kamruzzaman Hafiz were present as special guests at the event.
Also present were Acting Principal of the College Mohammad Shamsul Islam Masud, Benevolent Member of the Governing Body Mohammad Asaduzzaman Gedu, Educational Enthusiast Member Mohammad Mazharul Islam, Physician Representative Dr. Mohammad Saif Uddin, Teacher Representative Sheikh Sahab Uddin and Joint General Secretary of Chhatra Dal Azhar Raju and others.
Guests from different levels gave directional speeches to the students at the event and handed over prizes to them. Later, special prayers and prayers were offered wishing all-round success to the examinees.
