C T Online Desk: April 12, 2022- The zero Covid-19 positivity rate has
continued in Chattogram city and district.
The Covid-19 situation is improving consistently during the last one
month in the district and zero positives rate touched five times during the
time, Civil Surgeon Dr Ilias Chowdhury told BSS.
He said that Chattogram district recorded zero percent Covid-19
positivity rate after testing 182 samples during the last 24 hours till
Tuesday morning.
With the no new infected cases, the number of coronavirus (COVID-19)
patients stands at 126, 633 in the district.
The number of recovered Covid-19 patients reached 1,25,592 with the
recovery of 17 more people till Tuesday morning raising the average recovery
rate to 99.2 percent in the district.
Meanwhile, the total number of casualties remained steady at 1,362 in
the district as no new death was reported during the last 24 hours ending at
8 am today.
A total of 60 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at
different designated hospitals here.
