Noakhali Youth and Social Welfare Foundation celebrates its 2nd anniversary

C T Online Desk: Golam Rabbani, Noakhali Correspondent:  The Noakhali Youth and Social Welfare Foundation celebrated its 2nd anniversary with a colorful program. The program, organized on Monday (June afternoon, included discussion sessions, distribution of certificates among trainees, provision of educational materials among students, honoring of retired talented teachers, and financial assistance to indigent students. Local dignitaries, journalists, teachers, social workers, and members of the organization were present at the program.

Noakhali Sadar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Shahnewaz Tanvir was present as the chief guest at the program, chaired by the organization’s General Secretary Abu Bakar Milon and moderated by President Kamal Uddin.

Noakhali Sadar Upazila Youth Development Officer Zahid Hossain, Noakhali Journalists Union General Secretary Jahangir Alam, Journalist and Youth Organizer Mahmud Foysal, Upazila Assistant Youth Development Officer Fazlul Haque and others were present as special guests.

The speakers said that Noakhali Youth and Social Welfare Foundation is playing an important role in building a beautiful and prosperous society by involving the youth in skilled, humanitarian and social service activities. They expressed hope that such public welfare activities will continue in the future as well.

At the event, certificates and allowances were given to 30 women who completed the tailoring training course under the Youth Development Department. In addition, three retired talented teachers were given honorary mementos for their special contribution to education and social development. In addition, financial assistance was also provided to poor and meritorious students.
