C T Online Desk: Mahmud Foysal, Divisional Head, Chittagong : A General Diary (GD) has been filed against the non-political organization Hezbut Towhid in Feni for communication propaganda and allegations against the society by its members through social media. The charge sheet was submitted by local district general voter Md. Nurul Alam on Monday (June 2) in Feni Model.
The accused are Ujalia villages Mufti Yusup (32), Abdul Halim (29), Imran Hossain (22) and Odhikar Wat Hossain (28) of Feni Sadar.
It was alleged that between May 31 and June 2, the accused used their personal Facebook IDs to spread various misleading and opinion-based propaganda against the Hejbut Thowheed Sanstha. It is alleged that due to this propaganda, the members of the organization have been socially isolated or ostracized in the Ujalia area.
Md. Nurul Alam said that the accused are currently intimidating members of government organizations through social media and have allowed them to cause major inconveniences. Members of the local government party are spending their days in insecurity and fear.
Regarding the propaganda, the official Feni District Amir Abdul Wahed Mamun said that those who are now spreading propaganda want to come into the limelight. They gave the title of ‘Qawmi Janani’ to the late Kamale Sheikh. They They change things in different ways and gain interests. And use different types of candidates for their own interests. They want to be highlighted by motivating them. We have been dealing with them for only 31 years. Those who are using the religious sentiment of the people of Islam to gain interests will soon face down. The public opinion will be accepted. Legal action has been taken against those who are spreading misinformation.
