C T Online Desk: Mahmud Foysal, Staff Reporter: A discussion meeting titled “What we can do to deal with the crisis in Bangladesh”, an Eid reunion and workers’ conference was held. This event was organized by Feni District Hezbut Towhid at 10 am on Saturday (May 16) at the District Shilpakala Academy auditorium.
Hezbut Towhid’s General Secretary Nizam Uddin was present as the chief guest and main discussant at the event moderated by Azmain Ferdous and Anisa Binte Afsar.
In his speech, the chief guest said that a deep conspiracy is going on against Bangladesh. This country has been presented as a communal, militant, extremist, corrupt state in a planned manner in the international arena. The imperialists are planning to occupy this land in a united manner. Meanwhile, we ourselves are divided into different parties and opinions. However, those who are attacking and occupying Muslim countries will not make any distinction during the attack. There is no distinction between sects and religions for them.
Highlighting the current situation of the country, he said, our education system, economic system, medical system, political system are in crisis. In this situation, debates are still going on in the parliament building for and against 1971.
Highlighting the path to liberation, he said, the nation has fallen into this crisis due to following the interest-based capitalist economy, judicial system, and democratic system created by the British since independence. If we follow the provisions of Allah, the Seratul Mostaqim, the nation will be saved from this situation. The provisions given by the one who created us are the only way to free humanity from all injustice, injustice, and unrest.
Chittagong Divisional Amir Mahabur Alam was present as a special guest at the event presided over by Abdul Wahed Mamun, President of Feni District Hizbut Tawheed. Central Media and Communication Secretary Sharmin Sultana, Feni District General Secretary Nurul Alam, Feni Sadar Thana President Ekramul Haque Bhuiyan, Fulgazi Thana President Manjurul Alam and Chagalnaiya Thana President Iqbal Hossain Bhuiyan.
Other speakers at the event said that the workers of Hezbut Thowheed are working at the field level to prevent extremism, militancy and misinterpretation of religion and to maintain peace and security of the people of the country. They called on everyone to forget all kinds of narrow-mindedness and differences and unite for the welfare of the country and in the service of humanity.
More than hundreds of leaders and workers of Feni District Hezbut Thowheed were present at this Eid reunion program that lasted from morning to noon.
