C T Online Desk: Noakhali Correspondent : The 19th annual sports competition and award distribution ceremony of Bandherhat Genius Academy, a traditional children’s educational institution in Noakhali Sadar Upazila, was held with the theme ‘Latent talent, fair development and sports power, sports are the ball’.
These programs were organized on the school grounds for a day on Tuesday (April 14). The teachers, students, guardians and invited guests of the school were present.
The speakers at the lively event said that sports are a very necessary element in the development of children’s talent along with studies. Which keeps the mind and body healthy. Therefore, they believe that it is important to encourage students to play sports along with their studies.
During this time, prizes were distributed among the winners of various events, including sports competitions, cultural programs, and dress-up competitions for boys and girls from grade five to grade seven, and all the students who secured first, second, and third place in the annual examination merit list were felicitated.
The program was presided over by the school director Muhammad Alamgir and moderated by former teacher Mahbubur Rahman Sohag. Zamindar Hat High School Principal Md. Alamgir Kabir, prominent educationist Hosne Elahi Shaki, prominent businessman Abu Zaker, acting headmaster of Rajapur Government Primary School Golam Mostafa, journalist Mahmud Faisal of Noakhali district, Noannai Union Parishad member Anwar Hossain Zahir, former UP member Saiful Islam Nasim, prominent social worker Amir Hossain Rahim, prominent sportsperson Mozammel Hossain Sohel, prominent social worker Abdur Rahim, school director’s wife Nasima Akhter Fensi, school headmaster Jannatul Ferdous and sports teacher Mahfuzul Haque, along with other teachers and guardians.
