C T Online Desk: Police recovered the bloodied bodies of three young men from a hilly area in Teknaf on Tuesday morning.
The bodies were found at around 9:00am in a remote hill in the North Shilkhali area under Baharchhara Union.
Officer-in-Charge of Teknaf Model Police Station, Saiful Islam, confirmed the recovery. The deceased were identified as Aminul Islam Rabi (19), son of Ruhul Amin; Mujibur Rahman (38), son of the late Nurul Kabir; and Nur Bashar (20), son of the late Nurul Islam—all residents of the same area.
According to police, local labourers discovered the bodies while working on the eastern side of the hill and alerted nearby residents, who later informed law enforcement.
Ruhul Amin, father of Rabi, said he identified his son at the scene after receiving the information.
OC Saiful Islam said police recovered the bodies shortly after being informed. “An inquest report is being prepared. The bodies will be sent for post-mortem examination, and the exact cause of death will be known after the report,” he said, adding that necessary legal steps would be taken.
