C T Online Desk: Mahmud Foysal, Noakhali : Ms. Abdul Haque Filling Station has taken a conscious and humane initiative even amidst the fuel crisis in Noakhali district. To reduce the suffering of motorcyclists, they have introduced a rationing system of fuel supply, which is already receiving widespread praise.
It is known that due to excessive crowding and limited stock of fuel, many bikers were not getting fuel even after waiting for a long time. In this situation, the station authorities decided to distribute a certain amount of fuel to ensure equal opportunities for everyone.
As a result of this initiative, on the one hand, fuel wastage is being prevented, and on the other hand, bikers are able to collect fuel in an orderly manner in less time. This has greatly reduced the suffering of the common people.
Local bikers said that such an initiative is truly commendable. This decision to think of everyone even during a crisis can be an example for other filling stations.
The station authorities said that this rationing system will continue until the situation normalizes and there are plans to continue public service activities in the future. They said that the pump authorities have been providing uninterrupted service for the last one and a half months.
It is worth noting that the restriction of the Strait of Hormuz in the Iran-America-Israel war has affected oil in the world market. As a result, people in the Middle East and Bangladesh have been suffering from this crisis for one and a half months. There is concern about when this crisis will end.
