C T Online Desk: Sarwar Jahan Jewel Mymensingh : An institution called “Aziz Diagnostic Center” has been sealed in Trishal, Mymensingh, on charges of irregularities, wrongful treatment, fraud, and conducting unauthorized activities.
On March 30 (Monday), the institution was closed and sealed by the Mymensingh district administration’s mobile court operation in Balipara union of the upazila.
Executive Magistrate Md. Mahbubur Rahman conducted the operation on the instructions of the District Administration, Mymensingh. He said that the mobile court was conducted based on information that a person named Dr. Humayun Kabir was providing ultrasonography and ECG services there along with seeing patients.
During the operation, the director of the diagnostic center closed the establishment and fled after receiving the news. Later, when an attempt was made to contact the person concerned on his mobile phone, the number he was using was also found to be switched off. In this context, the establishment was sealed.
The Trishal Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer (UHFPO) and a police team from Trishal Police Station were present at the time.
The district administration said that such campaigns will continue in the public interest and strict action will be taken against illegal medical activities.
