C T Online Desk: Chittagong Port Authority has appointed an international consulting firm under the PPP project ‘Construction of Bay-Terminal’at the estuary of Bay , Patenga in Chittagong. The work was jointly awarded to Kunwa Engineering and Consulting Company Limited of Korea and Dianyang Engineering Company Limited. The total cost will be 126 crore 49 lakh 73 thousand 986 taka. The proposal was approved at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Public Procurement on Thursday .The virtual meeting was held under the chairmanship of Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal. Additional Secretary of the Cabinet at the end of the meeting. Zahirul Islam told reporters that the other proposals approved at the meeting were: Dredging of the project (Package No. DR-1, Lot-E) by the Bangladesh Water Development Board under the Ministry of Water Resources to protect the establishments on the left bank of the river Padma in Charghat and Bagha upazilas of Rajshahi district. . It will be implemented by Aqua Marine Dredging Limited and Nabarun Traders Limited. Expenditure for this has been estimated at 27 crore 44 lakh 74 thousand 371 taka.
