C T Online Desk: ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury Foundation (MCF) has distributed sehri among 1000 people floating in the city as part of the month-long program of Ramadan. The Sehri was distributed at Lalkhan Bazar Junction, Tiger Pass Junction and Old Railway Station under the overall management of former Juba League leader Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babar on the occasion of 4th Ramadan on Tuesday (April 5) at 3 am. At that time Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babar said, Ramadan is the month of fasting. This Ramadan, many of our helpless poor uprooted people cannot eat sehri properly. So fasting becomes difficult for all these people. Therefore, we are trying to stand by the side of the people on behalf of ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury Foundation of Chattalbir under the direction of the Deputy Minister of Education. People should not suffer in fasting.
Mohiuddin Chowdhury used to do these things in Ramadan during his lifetime. Members of South District Volunteer League Omar Farooq, Ainul Islam Abed, Nazim Uddin, Juba League leader Shibu Prasad Chowdhury, Delwar Hossain and others were present at the time.
