Biggapon Bazar sent a rejoinder to a report run by The Daily Commercial Times published on the front page of The Daily Commercial Times on 9 November and earlier on 7 November in its online edition.
The rejoinder sent through Chattogram-based legal firm Naim & Associates, said the facts of the article are “false, fabricated and published with malicious intent.
OUR REPLY :
The report was published based on a written attention letter submitted by Mohammad Nazrul Islam, General Secretary of the News Paper Employees Welfare Society (NEWS), Chattogram, addressed to the learned Joint District Judges of Chattogram Money Loan Courts No. 1, 2, and 3. No personal opinion or independent information of the reporter was included in the report.
