C T Online Desk: Shakhawat Sabbir | Special Correspondent : The Election Commission (EC) has released the final voter list for Bangladesh, confirming 127,695,183 citizens are now officially registered to vote in the upcoming national polls.
EC Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced the figures at a press briefing at the Election Building in Agargaon on Monday.
According to the updated record, the voter population stands at:Male voters: 64,814,907,Female voters: 62,879,042 & Third gender voters: 1,234
The EC reported a higher enrollment growth among women, with the female voter population increasing by 4.16%, compared to 2.29% for men.
The final list marks a slight adjustment from the draft roll released on November 3, which recorded 64.76 million male voters, 62.85 million female voters, and 1,230 third gender individuals.
Officials said the updated list includes all citizens who reached the age of 18 by October 31, 2025, making them eligible to vote in the next national elections.
The EC will now move to distribute smart voter ID cards and prepare polling center listings, marking the final stage of logistical preparation ahead of the electoral schedule announcement.
