C T Online Desk: By Shakhawat Hossain Sabbir, Special Correspondent, Feni : Three people have been arrested with illegal firearms in a joint operation conducted by law enforcement agencies in Chhagalnaiya upazila of Feni.
The arrests were made early Monday (October 27) from the Jungle Mia road area under Radhanagar Union.
The detainees were identified as Masud Rana of Purbo Madhugram, Jhontu of Paschim Chhagalnaiya village, and Saiful Islam Moni of Purbo Chhagalnaiya village.
An on-duty officer of Chhagalnaiya Police Station confirmed the incident, saying that a case under the Arms Act is being processed against the detainees.
According to local sources, the joint forces conducted the raid based on secret information and detained the trio along with illegal weapons. They were later taken to the police station for interrogation.
