C T Online Desk: Special Correspondent, Feni : A gang of armed robbers struck in Daganbhuiyan upazila, Feni, stealing valuables worth nearly Tk 2 crore from the house of Aziz Ullah Master in Chandpur village around midnight Friday.
Police and family members said the gang broke into the duplex home of Aziz Ullah’s son, Kamal Uddin Babul, by cutting the iron grill and gate, then held the family hostage at knifepoint.
The robbers fled with 70 bhori of gold, €3,000, Tk 4 lakh in cash, mobile phones, and other valuables. Babul, his two nephews, and two sisters were tied up and assaulted. Locals alerted police, who visited the scene. OC Mohammad Wahed Parvez confirmed a case is underway, and drives are ongoing to catch the culprits.
