C T Online Desk: Shakhawat Hossain Sabbir : FENI, Oct 17 — Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-7) have arrested two Rohingya women in possession of cannabis during an anti-drug drive in Feni Sadar upazila.
According to RAB sources, the operation was conducted on Friday (October 17) in the Pachchhaya area of the upazila. During the raid, law enforcers detained the two women and recovered 14 kilograms of weeds from their possession.
The detainees were handed over to the local police station for further legal action, RAB officials confirmed.
RAB-7 has been carrying out regular anti-narcotics drives across the Chattogram region to curb the rising drug trade involving different groups, including displaced Rohingya individuals.
