C T Online Desk: Sarwar Jahan Jewel Mymensingh : Members of the ‘July Fighters and Martyrs’ Family’ are holding a hunger strike to demand the immediate arrest of visible fascists in Mymensingh and the security of the families of martyrs and injured. The hunger strike, which began at noon on Sunday (October 5), is continuing for the second day in front of the Mymensingh Divisional Commissioner’s Office.
The program was organized by the Martyrs and Injured Cell of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the Revolutionary July Fighters Mymensingh Division.
When Al Noor Mohammad Ayas, the Mymensingh divisional coordinator of the Martyrs and Injured Cell of the Anti-Discrimination Movement under the banner of the Revolutionary July Warrior, announced the hunger strike, families of martyrs and injured people from various upazilas of Sherpur, Jamalpur, Netrokona and Mymensingh showed solidarity. Despite the incessant rain, women of the martyrs’ families continued to raise slogans demanding justice for the murder of their relatives.
