At this time, the president of the college board of directors and the dean of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries Sciences of Noakhali University of Science and Technology, Dr. Jahangir Sarkar presided over the function and the speakers included Shafiqul Islam, the enthusiastic member of the college governing body and the controller of examinations of Noakhali Science and Technology University, Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Surgery of Noakhali Medical College Hospital and the physician representative of the college governing body Dr. Md. Saif Uddin, and the member of the college governing body Mazharul Islam.
The condolence meeting was also addressed by Moin Uddin, the manager of Bandherhat Global Islami Bank, Ashraful Karim Chowdhury Jasim, the assistant headmaster (acting) of Noannai Union High School, Alamgir Kabir, the headmaster of Zamindar Hat High School, along with representatives of the college’s teachers, guardians and education enthusiasts.
During this time, the speakers reminisced about the social, personal and professional life of the acting principal of the college, the late Babar Md. Zakir Hossain Chowdhury. The speakers said that he worked for the improvement of the quality of the college and the welfare of the students. His void will never be filled. On the other hand, they also expressed deep sorrow over the death of office assistant Jayanal Abdin Patwari. Later, prayers were offered for the eternal peace of his departed soul.
