To transform Mymensingh city into a green afforestation, we have to plant trees as conscious citizens and encourage tree planting. As part of the ongoing Green Mymensingh Campaign initiative under the direction of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, tree planting and tree distribution program was carried out on Saturday afternoon, July 19, in the empty spaces including Baghmara Medical Hostel and adjacent areas of Wards 17, 18 and 19 of the city, Kristapur Dakshin Para, Kristapur Primary School, Bhatikashar Mission School intersection and nearby areas. Present at the time were BNP’s Morshed Ali, Zia Parishad’s Abdur Rouf, Sramik Dal’s Zillu, Mahanagar Chhatra Dal’s Emon, Mymensingh Medical College Chhatra Dal’s Mainul Hasan, Akif Tanzim, Noor-e-Jawat Rutab, Tahlin Islam Tiham, Green Mymensingh Campaign members Rafayet Khan, Maruf, Tanbir, Shishir, Akib, Ilham, Sandhi, Ratul, and others.
