Krishak Dal’s Tree Plantation Program in Memory of Martyrs in Noakhali

C T Online Desk: Mahmud Foysal, Staff Correspondent : As part of the program announced by the Nationalist Party-BNP, a tree plantation program titled ‘Sabuj Pallabe, Smriti Amlan’ has been held in Noakhali to commemorate all the martyrs killed in the July-August mass uprising in the Bangladesh National Unity and Democratic Movement.

This tree plantation campaign organized by ‘Bangladesh Nationalist Party and We BNP Paribas-Noakhali’ was implemented on Sunday (July 20) morning at the municipal park of Maijdi, Noakhali district town. The tree plantation program was inaugurated by Fatema Khatun, mother of martyr Mamun, who was killed in the July mass uprising.

Noakhali District BNP Convener Mahbub Alamgir Alo was present as the chief guest, Noakhali District BNP Member Secretary Md. Harunur Rashid Azad was present as the special guest. The main speaker at the event was Advocate Rabiul Hasan Palash, Organizing Secretary of the Central Krishak Dal.

The event was chaired by Noakhali District Krishak Dal Senior Joint Convener Nurunnabi and moderated by Member Secretary Abduzzaher GS Harun. Also present at the event were Noakhali District BNP members Gias Uddin Selim, Shahidul Islam Kiran, Abu Naser, Kamruzzaman Hafiz, Sadar Upazila BNP former General Secretary VP Jasim, Noakhali District Jubo Dal General Secretary Nurul Amin Khan, Noakhali District Swechchhasebak Dal President Saber Ahmed, General Secretary Mizanur Rahman and District Chhatra Dal former General Secretary Abu Hasan Md. Noman and many others.
