C T Online Desk: 10 cases filed in connection with the vandalism, looting.
Police have arrested 72 people in connection with the acts of vandalism and looting that took place during anti-Israel protests in several cities of the country on Monday.
The arrests were made till 8am on Wednesday, said a statement sent from the Bangladesh Police Headquarters.
Of them, 33 were arrested in Khulna, 19 in Sylhet, five in Chattogram, four each in Gazipur, Narayanganj, Cox’s Bazar and three in Cumilla.
In total, 10 cases have been filed over the incidents.
