C T Online Desk: Sarwar Jahan Jewel : Elderly woman Ayesha Khatun (57) has held a press conference requesting to build a house in her husband’s house. The press conference was held on Sunday afternoon in a private organization room in Mymensingh. Ayesha Khatun is the wife of the late Habibur Rahman of Rasulpur area of Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh. Ayesha Khatun is a mother of five children.
Elderly Ayesha Khatun, who lives in someone else’s house due to the neglect of her children, expressed her desire to build a house in her husband’s house at this press conference.
Ayesha Khatun said that after the death of her husband, retired fighter flight engineer Habibur Rahman, about 24 years ago, she had a good life for a few days, but now she is in great pain in her old age. She is moving from person to person in her husband’s house in Kadam Rasulpur, looking for a place to rest her head. But her three sons are not allowing her to stay at home. Ayesha complained that even though her three sons are able-bodied, they do not support her, she lives in someone else’s house. Ayesha’s husband left her property, but when she went to build a house on her husband’s house, the sons beat her, these are the allegations of the old woman Ayesha.
Ayesha Khatun said that her eldest daughter, out of three sons and two daughters, is an expatriate in America. The elderly Ayesha has no complaints against her daughter for staying abroad. She said that the boys had instigated me to spread various propaganda against the girls, and now the boys themselves have thrown me out of the house. An elderly Ayesha Khatun of Rasulpur area of Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh wants a place to live in her husband’s house. Ayesha said, “I will beg for food all my life, but I still want to die in my husband’s house.
