C T Online Desk: A direct flight from the commercial capital Chittagong to another international destination will be launched in April. Himalaya Airlines will operate direct flights from Shah Amanat International Airport to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The foreign airline will initially operate two flights a week on the route. If the number of passengers increases, the flight will increase. The flight will land at 3 pm and fly to Nepal an hour later with its passengers.
As a result, tourists and traders in greater Chittagong are seeing new possibilities. They hope that along with the expansion of the tourism sector, bilateral trade will also be strengthened.
