C T Online Desk: Sarwar Jahan Jewel Mymensingh: A mobile court has fined two brick kilns in Trishal, Mymensingh. At the same time, the activities of the two brick kilns were declared closed. Executive Magistrate and Trishal Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Mahbubur Rahman gave this information on Tuesday. He said that the operation was conducted in Balipara Union of the upazila on Monday. He also said that the operations of GMB Bricks and FBC Bricks were stopped by conducting an operation under the Brick Manufacturing and Kiln Establishment Control Act, 2013 (Amended 2019). At that time, the fire in the brick kiln was extinguished by the fire service with water and the kiln furnace was demolished. At the same time, a fine of Tk 5 lakh was imposed and collected through the mobile court following the complaint of the Assistant Director of the Department of Environment. The Department of Environment, Mymensingh, Bangladesh Army, Trishal Fire Service and Civil Defense, Mymensingh District Police and Trishal Thana Police cooperated during the operation.
