C T Online Desk: The Bangladesh Election Commission has released the updated voter statistics, revealing a steady increase in the number of registered voters over the past year.
As of today, the total number of voters stands at 12,37,32,274 — 6,33,61,615 male, 6,03,69,665 female and 994 “hijra” voters.
The number reflects a 1.54 percent growth compared to the previous year’s 12,18,50,160.
