C T Online Desk: A 13-kilometre tailback was created on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Gajaria upazila of Munshiganj on Friday morning, causing immense suffering to the people.
The highway police said a vehicle broke down on the Daudkandi bridge around 5am on the Comilla-bound lane, resulting in heavy traffic congestion on the highway.
Bhaberchar highway police in-charge Humayun Kabir said they were working to normalise the traffic movement.
