C T Online Desk: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s health condition is showing steady improvement, said her physician and BNP standing committee member Dr AZM Zahid Hossain.
Addressing reporters on Sunday in front of The London Clinic, where the BNP chief is undergoing treatment, Dr Zahid informed that physiotherapy was administered, and her condition on Sunday was more stable than the previous day.
Professor John Patrick Kennedy, the liver specialist overseeing Khaleda Zia’s treatment, also visited her on the same day.
BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman and his wife Dr Zubaida Rahman visited Khaleda Zia at the hospital, which continues to provide her with a family-like environment conducive to recovery.
Khaleda Zia’s advisor, Enamul Haque Chowdhury, stated: “Her physical condition is good. She even walked independently today.”
Meanwhile, BNP United Kingdom General Secretary Koysar M Ahmed announced that all units of the UK BNP have been instructed to organize prayer gatherings at mosques across the UK for Khaleda Zia’s speedy recovery.
