C T Online Desk: Now the country is stable a lot and its law and order improved while the wheels of the economy are set in motion, he says.
The interim government achieved 90 percent success during its last five months in power, as the country’s overall situation remained stable and law and order improved significantly, said Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam.
“We are going through a turbulent time. Now the country is stable and its law and order has improved while the wheels of the economy are set in motion. Stability is prevailing even in the bureaucracy except for some irrelevant incidents. Entirely, I can say the interim government achieved 90 percent success out of 100 percent,” he said.
Shafiqul Alam recently came up with the claim during an interview with an online news portal.
Referring to the country’s forex reserve, he said Bangladesh’s foreign exchange reserve is on a growing trend while the economy remains dynamic. Exports increased by 7 percent in September, 21 percent in October and 16 percent in November, he added.
“We hope there will be good growth at the end of December,” said the press secretary during the interview.
