Khaleda likely to leave for London on Monday

C T Online Desk: BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is expected to leave Bangladesh on Monday at 11am for advanced medical treatment in London, if all arrangements go as planned.

Sources indicate that her flight may reach London late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

While her visa, flight arrangements, and other formalities have been completed, discussions suggest that her treatment abroad had been delayed for various reasons.

A total of 15 individuals, including medical board doctors, nurses, and personal assistants, will accompany her.

According to sources, she will first be taken to London via air ambulance and then to the United States.

It has been learned that all preparations for Khaleda Zia’s treatment at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins University Hospital in East Baltimore, Maryland, have been completed.

She has already received her UK and US visas.

Khaleda Zia is expected to spend a few days with her family members in London before traveling to the United States for treatment related to liver issues.

According to her medical team, all detailed plans for her treatment have been finalized.
