C T Online Desk: The Election Commission wants to organize any election in collaboration with all parties.
Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal told reporters at the Chittagong Regional Election Office on Friday (March 18) afternoon.
“Our job is to conduct elections in accordance with the law and the constitution,” he told reporters. Whether it is a national election or a local government election, our responsibility is to ensure that all parties participate in the elections in the light of the law. Regional Election Officer Mohammad Hasanuzzaman, Senior District Election Officer Jahangir Hossain and Additional District Election Officer Kamrul Islam were present on the occasion. By the way, CEC has come to Chittagong on a 4-day visit. On Saturday morning he will start his journey to his home Sandwip and stay there. He will attend the smart card distribution ceremony in Sandwip upazila at 11 am on Sunday. He will return to Chittagong from Sandwip on Monday morning and leave for Dhaka.
