C T Online Desk: Prices of diesel and kerosene reduced by Tk1.25.
The government on Saturday set the automated retail prices of petroleum fuel for September, reducing prices in line with international market trends.
As per a gazette notification of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, per litre diesel and kerosene will be sold at Tk105.50, while petrol price will be Tk121 and octane Tk125.
The new rates will take effect from 12:00 am on Sunday.
Compared to the previous prices, octane and petrol have been reduced by Tk6, while diesel and kerosene prices dropped by Tk1.25.
