C T Online Desk: Three members of a kidney and liver smuggling ring arrested in Khulshi The Facebook group used to open a collection of donors for the kidney and liver trafficking ring. There was a verbal agreement with the donor for 4 to 6 lakh taka.
And the cycle took 15 to 20 lakh rupees from Indian agents to sell kidneys. Recently, RAB arrested three members of this gang from Khulshi area of Chittagong on the charge of trying to smuggle a person named Saiful Islam to India for Tk 4.5 lakh.On Thursday (December 30) at 5 pm, RAB detained them in front of the Indian Visa office in Khulshi, Chittagong. RAB-7 Public Relations Officer Niaz Mohammad Chapal confirmed the matter on Friday evening.The arrested are: Atiqur Rahman Rony (38), son of late Habibur Rahman of Akhra Bazar area of Kishoreganj Sadar, Mohammad Matiur of Basudia village of Munshiganj district. Mohammad Ali Dalim (35)son of late Mujibur Rahman of Sambuk area of Shibchar police station of Madaripur district.
