C T Online Desk: March 10, 2022- The positivity rate of Covid-19 has continued law in the district.
The pandemic situation of the lethal virus is improving consistently during the last one month in the district, Civil Surgeon Dr Ilias Chowdhury told BSS
today.
A lowest positivity rate of 0.37 percent was recorded here while only three fresh cases were reported after testing 897 samples during the past 24 hours
till this morning.
Earlier, the district also recorded 0.73 percent Covid-19 positivity rate on
Wednesday and 1.07 percent on Monday, Dr Chowdhury added.
With the newly infected cases, the number of coronavirus (COVID-19) patients
now stands at 1,026, 574 in the district.
The number of recovered Covid-19 patients reached 1,19,172 with the recovery
of 282 more people till this morning, raising the average recovery rate to
94.01 percent in the district, Dr Ilias Chowdhury, civil surgeon of
Chattogram told BSS today.
Meanwhile, the total number of casualties remained steady at 1,362 in
the district as no new death was reported during the last 24 hours ending at
8 am today.
A total of 135 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different
designated hospitals here, the sources added.
