1437 more Rohingyas being shifted to Bhasanchar from Ukhia

C T Online Desk: Another 1437 Rohingyas are going to Bhasanchar in Noakhali in 12 points from the Rohingya camps of Ukhia in Cox’s Bazar. On Wednesday (March 9) at around 1 pm, Rohingyas left Ukhia Degree College for Chittagong in 27 buses.Cox’s Bazar Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner Shah Rejuwan Hayat confirmed the matter.

He said a group of Rohingyas left Bhasanchar at around 1pm and 1437 Rohingyas left the camp.
It is learned that Rohingyas and their belongings were brought from different camps in 15 mini buses on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning at the transit point of Ukhia Degree College ground. The process of taking Rohingyas there has begun for the third time since the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Refugee Management was signed in Bhasanchar between the UN refugee agency and the government.Additional Relief and Refugee Repatriation Commissioner Shamsu Ddouja Nayan said that one group of Rohingyas left Ukhia for Bhasanchar in 12 phases at around 1 pm.
