C T Online Desk: Engineer Rabiul Alam, CIP, chairman of Energypac Power Generation PLC, has recently been awarded with the prestigious IEB Gold Medal 2023 for his phenomenal contributions to research, engineering, and the national economy at large.
The 61st Convention of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) was held in the capital on 11 May. At the event, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina recalled the contribution of the engineers for the country’s development and awarded gold medal and certificates to different levels of engineers for their relentless efforts.
Upon receiving the award, Rabiul Alam said, “Responding to the call of the prime minister, Energypac will keep working to bring about innovative solutions that will help the country to carry out its development initiatives in a sustainable way.”
It is mentionable that as the chairman of Energypac Power, Rabiul has been contributing in many ways to bring about significant changes in the country’s light engineering industry. He was earlier awarded CIP card for his active participation in the country’s development journey.
