C T Online Desk: Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury has asked the authorities concerned to form a quick response team to effectively address the issue of waterlogging in the post-city.
The concerned authorities, including CCC, Chattogram Development Authority (CDA), Chattogram Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (CWASA), Water Development Board (WDB), and Chattogram Port Authority (CPA), should be part of the team to resolve the waterlogging crisis in the city.
He said this while addressing a coordination meeting on the project undertaken to address the waterlogging issue in the city at the CCC’s conference room in the Tigerpass area on Monday.
Mayor Rezaul said the city dwellers expressed their dissatisfaction as water inundated many low-lying areas of the city including Muradpur even during light rainfall.
