Turkish Navy Ship to reach Chattogram port tomorrow

Turkish navy ship “TCG Kınalıada” (F-514) will arrive at Chattogram Seaport tomorrow (7 May) marking the 50th anniversary of the Bangladesh-Türkiye diplomatic relations.

“TCG Kınalıada” is scheduled to arrive at the port at 10 am, said a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.

The Turkish navy ship toured the Far East, docking at 24 ports in 20 countries over four-and-a-half months, enhancing the Turkish Naval Forces’ presence and fostering bilateral ties with the countries to be visited, the Turkish Embassy in Dhaka said in a separate press release.

“We are pleased to welcome the Turkish navy ship ‘’TCG Kınalıada’’ in Bangladesh on the 50th anniversary of Türkiye-Bangladesh diplomatic relations,” said the press release from the Turkish Embassy.

Commissioned in 2019, the “TCG Kınalıada” is the last ADA Class navy ship which was built by the İstanbul Naval Shipyard by the MİLGEM Program and integrated with Türkiye’s first national surface-to-surface guided missile ATMACA, developed by ROKETSAN.
