C T Online Desk: Farida Yasmin, President of Jatiya Press Club, was honoured with the Unesco Club Award 2024 for her contributions to journalism this year.
Unesco Club Association President Professor Syeda Minufar Nasreen, and Secretary-General Mahbubuddin Chowdhury handed over a crest to the Farida at an event on Friday, said a press release.
Jatiya Press Club organised the event marking World Press Freedom Day 2024.
