C T Online Desk: The 23 crews of the Bangladeshi ship MV Abdullah celebrated the holy Eid-ul-Fitr while being held hostage by Somali pirates.
Besides offering Eid prayers on the dock of the ship this morning, they got good food from the pirates.
The picture of their offering the holy Eid-ul-Fitr prayers has already gone viral on social media.
According to sources, the hostage Bangladeshi ship MV Abdullah is currently in Somali waters. Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated on Wednesday in the countries of the region including Somalia.
The bandits allowed the sailors to go to the ship’s dock on this day to offer Eid prayers. Besides, special food is arranged for sailors on the occasion of Eid.
After the prayer, they exchanged Eid greetings with each other and with their respective families.
It is to be noted that the Bangladeshi ship MV Abdullah with 23 sailors was hijacked by Somali pirates from the Indian Ocean on March 12.
