C T Online Desk: In the bi-annual election of TV Camera Journalists Association-Chittagong (TCJA), senior video journalist Shafiq Ahmed Sajib of Channel 24 has been elected president for the third time and senior video journalist of Jamuna Television Dipankar Das Babu has been elected general secretary for the second time.Boishakhi TV’s Chittagong bureau chief and chairman of the election steering committee Mohsin Chowdhury, Independent TV’s Chittagong bureau chief and election commissioner Anupam Sheel, Channel 24’s cameraperson and election commissioner Md.Selimullah said. The election results were announced on Tuesday (March 1) night .Former and current TCJA leaders including Farid Uddin, outgoing president Enamul Haque were present.Elected are: President Shafiq Ahmed Sajib (Channel 24), Vice President Emraul Kayes Mithu (R TV), General Secretary Dipankar Das Babu (Jamuna TV), Jt-General Secretary Babun Pal (Ekattar TV), Finance Secretary Md. Zahirul Islam (Ekattar TV), Organizing Secretary Basu Dev (GTV), Office Secretary. Saiful Islam (Banglavision), Publicity and Publication Secretary Simon Al Murad (Dipta TV), Executive Member Sanjeeb De Babu (Mashranga TV), Hasan Ullah (Desh TV), Md. Parvez Rahman (Spice TV).
