C T Online Desk: Celebration of the five-day Durga Puja, largest religious festival for the Hindu community, began with Goddess Bodhan in Ras Al Khaimah on Friday (20 October) amid great enthusiasm and festive mood. Sheikh Jamal Saqar Sultan Al Qashemi of Ras-Al-Khaimah inaugurated the program as the chief guest at the event organized at Al-Kharan. At the time Kajal Roy, Ujjal Dutta, Shibulu Dash, Kanu Sen, Khokon Shil, Mintu Shil, Mintu Shil, Ashish Chowdhury, Badal Roy, Engineer Liton, Tutul Chowdhury, Rajib Shil, Nipun Shil, Bikas Shil, Liton Dey, Prakash Chakraborty, Palak Jagannath Das, Sujan Aich, Jewel Chowdhury, Roni Talukder, Kalipada, Sanjit Ghosh, Kanchan Dey, Parimal Sheel, Priyatosh, Rupan Chakraborty, Prakash Dey were present. The chief guest said, the main religious festival of Sanatan religionists is Autumn Durga Puja. Ras-ul-Khaimah has become a gathering place for all Bengalis to participate in this puja. He exchanged Durga Puja greetings with all Sanatani.
