C T Online Desk: A college student was killed in a road accident in Chunti Jangalia area of Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar highway of Lohagara upazila in Chattogram on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Junaidur Rahman Rony, 21, a 2nd-year student of Chattogram Government Model School and College and son of Late Saleh Ahmed of Rahmania para of Chunti Union.
Khan Mohammad Erfan, officer-in-charge of Dohazari Highway Police Station, said that the college student was killed when a Cox’s Bazar-bound bus hit a motorcycle in the area at about 8:30pm on Friday.
‘The body of the deceased has been handed over to his family on behalf of the request to give the body without a post-mortem. The bus was seized, but the driver managed to flee the scene,’ he added.
