C T Online Desk: The Shiva Chaturdashi festival of the Hindu religion has started on Monday (February 28) at Chandranath Dham in Sitakunda and Adinath temple in Maheshkhali, the great pilgrimage of the followers of traditional religions.This year the fourteenth date will start at 2:50 pm 47 seconds on 28th February and will last till 1:07 pm on Tuesday 1st March.As there is no restriction of corona in this year’s fair at Chandranath Dham in Sitakunda, the organizers estimate that about 1 million pilgrims will gather. However, this time there is no special event including Vedic conference. Pilgrims have started coming from different parts of the country. The administration of Sitakunda, Mela Committee and Shrine Committee have taken 5 level security measures for the overall security of the fair and pilgrims.
