C T Online Desk: Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) and Bangladesh Television (BTV) have organised various programmes to celebrate the 77th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
BSA has arranged three-day events, including cultural function, painting exhibition, art camp and discussion to mark the occasion.
A painting exhibition on Sheikh Hasina was inaugurated at the gallery-4 of Jatiya Chitrashala of the academy on Wednesday. The art camp on Sheikh Hasina titled ‘Unnayaner Charushilpa’ (Art of Development) will inaugurated at the open stage of the academy at 10:30am today. Noted artists of the country will participate in the camp.
A discussion will be held at the seminar room of National Theater Hall of BSA at 3:30pm. It will be followed by a cultural programme to be held at the same venue at 5:00pm.
Bangladesh Television (BTV) will also air a number of programmes to mark the day. The programme includes documentary, children’s show, discussion, musical show, and development programme.
A children’s programme will be aired at 9:00am. ‘Krishoker Hridoye Sheikh Hasina’ will be aired at 10:15am. A discussion ‘Tarunner Bhabnay Sheikh Hasina’ will be telecast at 12:45 pm.
Docudrama ‘Hasina: A Daughter’s Tale’ will be broadcast at 2:35pm. The channel will also air a programme on the country’s development titled ‘Shantir Dut’ at 4:00pm. A special programme ‘Koti Praner Bhalobasa’ will be aired on 9:05 pm.
Besides, greeting cards, songs and infographics on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday will be aired during the day-long programme.
