C T Online Desk: A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were killed after being hit by a truck on Akhtaruzzaman Flyover in Chattogram’s Khulshi Monday night.
The deceased are motorcycle rider Al Imran Efti, 23, son of Yunus Molla of Darogar Hat area, and his friend Nahida Sultana, 21, daughter of Russel Chowdhury of Chakaria upazila of Cox’s Bazar district. Both were students of Chattogram Government City College.
The accident occurred at about 10:30pm when the truck hit the motorcycle on the flyover, leaving the duo critically injured, said Nurul Alam Ashek, in-charge of Chattogram Medical College Hospital police outpost.
They were rushed to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where doctors declared them dead on arrival, he added.
