This exchange of views was held at the Chittagong Zilla Parishad office on Thursday last at noon.At this time, ATM Payrul Islam said, ‘Politics is worship for me. And I consider it a virtue to be involved in Awami League politics. Many temptations, greed could not make me unprincipled. I am in the politics of Awami League to implement the ideals of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and strengthen the hand of Sheikh Hasina, despite many tortures, prisons, cases and deprivation of conspirators. This Awami League brought our freedom. Awami League is developing and enriching the country.
He also said that for the sake of the development of Fatikchari, it is important for everyone, including journalists, to be united. All should advance Fatikchari. I have played a role in every one of Fatikchari’s past development activities. Worked hard for every project including education, health, electrification, infrastructure. Ramgarh land port and immigration project has been proposed by me. In the future, the new bridge will be completed in place of the old Nazirhat bridge. After being elected as the chairman of Zilla Parishad, I am doing development work in the whole of Chittagong. Leaders of Fatikchari Journalists Parishad-Chittagram will work unitedly to develop Fatikchari and build Sheikh Hasina’s Smart Bangladesh.
