C T Online Desk: An international literary meet was held in Pirojpur to review the writings of poet of India and Bangladesh.
Indian Kaleshwar magazine editor Sreeshankar was the chief guest while Poet Khairun Nahar Ruby presided over the meeting at a conference centre in the town on Monday, said a press release.
Literary magazines Babui and Sahityashoily jointly organised the discussion.
In the event, poets and writers from across Bengal presented each other with their own poetry books and literary magazines edited by them, and at the end, the literary evening ended with a lovely reception.
North Kolkata democratic writers forum’s general secretary Sajal Shyam and Chetonar Unmesh magazine editor Dr Amrita Lal Bishwas were special guests on the occasion.
Sahitya Shaili magazine editor Pranakrishna Biswas, Babui magazine editor Hasibur Rahman, poets Delwar Hossain Alam, Samar Krishna Litu, Kiran Chandra Halder, Basudev Chandra Halder, Debnath Mondal and Anirban Chakraborty were also present on the occasion.
Today’s evening was filled with emotional discussions and poetry readings by poets and writers of India and Bangladesh.
