C T Online Desk: Dec 30, 2021 – A total of 16 people were detected positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours after testing 1,666 samples in
ten COVID-19 laboratories in Chattogram district.
Chattogram district recorded lowest Covid-19 positivity rate of 0.96
percent during the last 24 hours till Thursday morning.
With the newly infected cases, the number of coronavirus (COVID-19)
patients stands at 1,02,615 in the district.
The total number of recovered patients from the deadly virus rose to
94,706 with the curing of 23 more people in the past 24 hours.
Dr Ilias Chowdhury, civil surgeon of Chattogram district, said the
percentage of recovery rate is 92.18
With no new death recorded during the period, the death toll steady at
1,332.
A total of 248 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different
designated hospitals here, the sources added.
