C T Online Desk: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Wednesday said that the party’s one-point demand stated that no election would be held without Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the peace rally of Awami League in front of the south gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
Quader said: “While the one-point demand of BNP is removal of Sheikh Hasina, our demand is the opposite.”
“Our one-point is election according to the constitution. We are working to achieve this goal,” he added.
Pointing the foreign diplomats ruling party General Secretary Quader said: “You want a free and fair election, we also want a free fair election but we will resist anyone who will try to thwart this election process.”
